Tasting Menu At Snackbar

Thanks to Philadining, we learned about what might be one of the best food specials in the city: A monthly tasting menu at Center City's Snackbar that features guest chefs like Studiokitchen's Shola Olunloyo and Restaurant M's David Katz. The menu this time around featured goos like:

  • Carrot ginger soup with coconut froth and peanut praline
  • Scallop with "chocucroute" of fennel and apple with yuzu-miso glaze
  • Skate wing torchon with nicoise flavors
  • Kobe beef culotte with oxtail gyoza and parsnips and chanterelles
  • Chalancay epiosses with fennel mostarda, pumpernickle and shitake "soil"
  • Apple in forms with black sesame streusel and white chocolate
  • Caju-lime marshmallow with fried chocolate
