Mad River = Mad For Rittenhouse Square

It’s official: Old City’s Mad River is opening a spin-off restaurant on Sansom Street — not too far away from Roy’s and Nodding Head. The to-be-named restaurant will occupy the old firehouse on Sansom, with more than 5,000 feet of space.

Now here’s what we didn’t know: Mad River is a chain. The bar also has locations in New York, Albany, Baltimore and Charleston, SC.
