Yes, folks, Alison two is (sort of) open tonight, following months of construction, menu-planning, and anticipation.
It’s definitely a soft opening, as only the bar is open right now. That said, the bar also serves food, as well as a wide array of posh and interesting-looking cocktails. What might you expect if you pop in for a snack and a drink this evening? Well, aside from a crowd, “Charmoula Rubbed Lamb Loin Chop, Cucumber Mint Relish, Chick Pea Puree” or “Tuna Sliders, House Made Takewan Salad, Ginger Aioli,” among other bar menu items. On the libation side of things, there is a very extensive wine list, as well as cocktails like the French 75 with homemade brandied cherries or the Dark & Stormy with house-made ginger beer.
The restaurant will be opening for dinner on October 16th and for lunch on the 27th. A word to the wise: reservations can be made up to a month in advance, and we would recommend doing so if you’d like to eat at Alison Two before too long.
