A PSA by way of Helen at MP:Chicago! The Restaurants.com gift certificate deal that we posted about a few months back is, regrettably, a shady scam. Consumerist reports that a company associated with the site has been charging $14.95 a month to customers who made credit card purchases.
As Helen says: "It sounded too good to be true. Guess it was." Sorry, guys.
