• Philly is becoming more of a sandwich town with each passing day, and Rick Nichols points to a few places as examples of this. There's the recent opening of Paesano's, the paninis at Cafe Estelle, and the banh mi at Q.T. Vietnamese Sandwich in Chinatown.

• Spaghetti and meatballs at an Indian restaurant? Relax, kids: it's just the name of re-imagined version of glob jamun at IndeBlue. The recently opened upscale BYOB in in Collingswood serves the donut-like dessert with vanilla ice cream.

Megan DeMarco has a profile of Pie Lady Cafe in Moorestown, which opened in December. Owner Christine McHale realized a lifelong love of making pies into a store, and is undaunted by the economy.

• To wrap things up, Table Talk reports on a few openings: Restaurant Rosalie, way out in Cedars, where chef Gregory Ott specializes in sous-vide cooking, as well as of Cassizzi Pizzeria Ristorante and Campbell's Pub in Chesnut Hill.
