In a moment of perfect timing, Vetri is having an extravagant 7-course degustazione on Thursday, March 26. The $250 price tag might be hard to swallow, but remember: Vetri was just nominated for a James Beard Award!
As an added draw, Alsacian wine-guy Jean Trimbach will be there with wine pairings for each course. (This is a big deal for oenophiles &mdash Trimbach is a 12th generation vintner.) Foobooz has the full menu up for all interested parties to salivate over. A call around 2pm this afternoon confirmed that it's still possible to get tickets.
