First Person Arts' second Edible World Tour, led by the Inquirer's Rick Nichols, is coming up in a couple weeks. Last year's excursion hit up the Italian Market, but it's on to something new for this tour: Port Richmond, and Polish eats.
Nichols has created a tour that will give attendees a sampling of winter food, traditional Easter concoctions and Polish delicacies from the old country. Participants will sample food at each stop and get a chance to talk directly to the chefs who will share stories of the old world and the introduction of those traditions to Philadelphia.
Eager to eat a lot of Eastern European food and have some of Nichols' knowledge rub off on you? Here's what you need to know: the Edible World Tour is on Saturday, March 28th, tickets start at $75 (for FPA members), and are available by either calling or online. It sold out last year, so it's probably best to act fast.
