Harry and John Arnold, the brother pair behind Darling's Cheesecake are all set to open Darling's in Northern Liberties in May. The 132-seat restaurant will be housed in "The Egg," a new NoLibs development from Bart Blatstein.
Word is that Darling's will have a liquor license and outdoor seating. As for the menu, expect "a diner influence," which is another way of saying fancified comfort food. (Looks like the Arnolds have been doing their homework on what people want during a recession.) There's no chef yet, but it looks like the search is on: they're already interviewing for all positions.
