This week's review of the week is a twofer: it seems like a reasoned (if a bit gushy) review, that ultimately turns out to be a fake.
We have been trying to get here for a while now and we finally had the chance this past week. We really loved the marrow bones and the great carrot and orange soup! I had heard that this place was a bit pricier than some but I really don't think that's the case, unless the owners decided to make things more affordable recently. My date and I had hors d'oeuvres (like tapas), and each had three dishes and wine and walked out for 45.00 each! I think the place is beautiful and the service was really spot on. This is definitely our new regular place!
Back in December, the same person left the following review (for the same restaurant):
This has got to be one of the most beautiful restaurants in Philly. All the food is super tasty and presented beautifully. The menu format is fun also. It allows the diner to create their own tasting menu from a variety of dishes. Service is warm, knowledgeable and welcoming. I'll definitely be a regular now that drink prices have been lowered. These guys definitely have the right idea!
