Zahav Is Philly Mag's Best Restaurant Of 2009
After releasing nine of its ten top restaurants over several days, Philly Mag has finally revealed its No. 1 pick: Zahav — just like we predicted. The restaurant was chosen because of its “novel, national-attention-garnering concept” and its chameleon-like capacity to suit all occasions and diners, but “it’s the food…that steals the show.” To celebrate, Restaurant Club is throwing a dinner at Zahav on May 19th: Michael Solomonov has planned five-courses for $35 and plenty of seats remain.
