The still-under-construction restaurant at the still-under-construction Hotel Palomar at 17th and Sansom Streets has a name. It shall be called Square 1682 and if you check over at the hotel’s web site, you might very well be under the impression that both the hotel and the restaurant are actually open for business. In marketing, the future tense does not exist! What will it be like?

Square 1682, the destination restaurant adjacent to our Philadelphia boutique hotel is a popular gathering place for locals and visitors alike. Armani suits are as befitting as blue jeans here, as long as you’re in the mood for a deliciously casual bite and an expertly mixed cocktail. Contemporary American small and shared plates with a multicultural flair come forth from the ground floor exhibition kitchen next to the energetic bar scene and the wall-to-floor wine display. Upstairs, the cozy tables and private booths allow for easy conversation and future favorite stories. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, our restaurant is putting together more details on our menu selections.
