Fond, the BYOB from former Le Bec-Fin chefs Lee Styer and Jessie Prawlucki and former Lacroix captain Tory Keomanivong is on schedule to open Monday, August 31 at 5:30 p.m. The trio let us have a peek at the dainty East Passyunk Avenue space, formerly Clementine's and Lynda's Mediterranean, which they've revamped with new windows, new hardwood floors and a two-tone paint job to give it a crisper, brighter look.   • It looks like they removed the awning that covered the doorway, that's good. I think the previous two restaurants in this location failed in some part due to the front of the space. It was nearly impossible to tell that there was a restaurant inside, the awning made it so dark right there. Opening the front of the place up should help.
