Yesterday, we took a tour of Square 1682, the new restaurant opening on October 14 in the Hotel Palomar. While the first floor, which houses the bar, lounge and open kitchen is not quite ready for prime time, the dining room on the second floor is complete. Have a look at how designer Dayna Lee of Powerstrip Studios in Hollywood has paid homage to the Art Deco history of the building, which was constructed in 1929 as the Architects Building, and stay tuned for an interview with executive chef Guillermo Tellez later in the week.
