Hawthornes Cafe, the new beer-store-slash-gourmet-eatery in Bella Vista, opens today, serving gourmet sandwiches and snacks and over 1,000 bottled beers and growlers of keg beer using a soon-to-be-patented system invented by co-owner Chris Fetzfatzes. Fetfatzes, whose family owns Bella Vista Beer Distributors, says he and his partner Heather Annechiaricos wanted to open a place that they'd like to hang out in, where guests can get "a great, quick meal in a clean place with great atmosphere" and, of course, great beer. Click through the photo gallery to see the space and read more about the growler-filler Fetzfatzes invented and check out the lunch menu and the brunch menu.
