Phils Versus Yanks: Where to Watch Game 5 or Eat in Support of It

It’s do-or-die time for the Phils. If you’re not glued to your television tonight or at the game itself, here are a few picks for watching the game.

• Beginning at 7p.m. tonight Pub & Kitchen will give away 100 free cans of Sly Fox Prima Pils for guests to, um, shotgun. First come, first serve. One per customer.

• Fairmount’s London Grill is serving beef, pork, buffalo and duck hot dogs with homemade relish and mustard for $3.50 each.

Matyson’s five-course $45 tasting menu this week is Philly-themed and includes, Philly cream cheese, a cheesesteak riff, wasabi water ice and a krimpet-y dessert. There’s no TV, but you can eat it before the game.

• $10 for ice cream not rich enough for you? Try Barclay Prime’s baseball special - a $16 kobe hot dog, served on a homemade buttermilk potato roll with smoked sauerkraut, mustard, onion and a pickle. For $20, you also get a can of Sly Fox Pikeland Pils. The bar has temporarily installed a TV for the games.
