Famous-person-with-a-Philly-affiliation Kevin Bacon and his brother, Applewood-Smoked Michael Bacon, held a press conference and reception last night at East Passyunk Avenue restaurant Paradiso, to talk about their upcoming benefit concert for Save the Mummers, which is raising money to help fund the Mummers Parade in the face of Philly’s current budget crisis. We weren’t able to attend because we were out bringing home the other kind of bacon, but wanted to share these Bacon bits with our readers. And make Bacon puns!
