Cupcakes Keep on Coming; Potito’s Back in Business

Philly Cupcake joins the cupcake-y fray, replacing Blue & Green at 1132 Chestnut Street. The new vintage-inspired spot offers homemade cupcakes and treats and La Colombe coffee, Owners are Michael Lewis and Johnny Columbo, who also owns vintage store Forbidden Planett. [Philly Chit Chat]

• Alex Plotkin, the owner of the steakhouse Chops in Bala Cynwyd will take over the enormous Washington Square space that was formerly Oceanaire and open… a steakhouse. Plotkin, who has been interested in the space for a while, is perhaps better known as the restaurateur who sued Inquirer restaurant critic Craig LaBan after an unfavorable review. [Inquirer]
