We all know what happened after Jose Garces announced he was hosting a Next Iron Chef finale “viewing” party. So we’re wondering if perhaps Top Chef contestant Jennifer Carroll is taking a page from the newly anointed Iron Chef’s book by hosting two viewing parties at 10 Arts - one for each episode of the two-part finale. It’s slightly less suspicious than Garces’s party - after all, 10 Arts has been screening each episode live in the restaurant every Wednesday throughout the season - but intriguing all the same. Read on for details.

From the press release:

On Wednesday, December 2, guests are invited to watch the Top Chef culinary action unfold from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Fans can savor Chef Carroll’s $35, three-course Bistro Supper menu or relax in the lounge with cocktails and light bites. The season finale will be shown on large flat-screen TVs throughout the bistro and lounge. Guests can purchase a “Bet on Jen” button for one dollar each. Proceeds will be donated to Philabundance, the region’s largest hunger relief organization.

On Wednesday, December 9, fans are invited to watch the Top Chef finale via a special prix fixe dinner and celebratory screening in the lounge. Guests joining 10 Arts for dinner will partake in a special, multi-course dinner prepared by Chef Carroll and Pastry Chef Monica Glass, highlighting the best of the regional harvest. As a memento of the evening, each guest will receive an autographed menu from Chef Carroll. The dinner is priced at $65 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity, and is the sole menu option of the evening.

Also included in the December 9 dinner - and also highly suspect! - a complimentary champagne toast to “honor chef Carroll.” They’re also launching a new drink, The Ri-Pear. As in Eric, just in case anyone forgot the the restaurant is officially called 10 Arts Bistro & Lounge by Eric Ripert.

Reservations are a must for both nights.
