Tria Heading West; Thoreau Opens Tonight

There’s a mini-Tria on the way. Owner Jon Myerow plans to open a smaller, more wine-centric version of his fermentation celebration concept over the summer in the Left Bank building at 32nd and Walnut. If you want to make a Tria happen somewhere else, Myerow writes in his newsletter that he’s “seeking individual investors to participate in our business. The investment isn’t liquid, but the dividends are.”

Thoreau, the new vegetarian restaurant from the owner of Southampton’s popular Blue Sage Vegetarian Grille, opens tonight at 1033 Spring Garden Street. They’re still waiting on a liquor license, so BYOB it for now. See the menu here.
