The Illadelph scares up an early rendering of what Steve Wynn may have in mind for the Foxwoods casino site in South Philly, via Steve Friess, a blogger/columnist for Las Vegas Weekly. In an earlier pro-casino, pro-Wynn op-ed in the Inquirer, Friess says Philly should consider itself fortunate to have Wynn here, as well as Wynn’s go-to designer Roger Thomas, who told Friess his casino design would be influenced by Philly’s Georgian and Federal architecture.

As Friess himself notes in his post, the design seems like a duplicate of Wynn’s new Macau casino, rather than anything especially Philly-inspired. Check out a larger version of the rendering at the Illadelph and see what you think.
