That was fast. After a whirlwind visit earlier this week to present renderings and press the political flesh, Steve Wynn has abruptly pulled out of his Cutest Little Casino project. In a statement, he said, "We are fascinated by the legalization of full gaming in Pennsylvania and stimulated by the opportunity that it presents for Wynn Resorts. But this particular project did not, in the end, present an opportunity that was appropriate for our company." Everyone - investors, Gaming Board, Mayor Nutter Butter - is stunned. What this means for the future of the Foxwoods site is a mystery.
