Talula's Table Pop-UpPhoto: Collin Keefe
Last night Aimee Olexy, Matthew Moon and the rest of team Talula’s Table did its first of three pop-ups at Stephen Starr’s Washington Square. The short-lived series seeks to bring the notorious Kennett Square farm table dinners to the big city, complete with dishes composed of hyper-seasonal ingredients, picked fresh from Chester County farms. Unlike the true Talula’s experience, which consists of eight courses served to only eight to 12 guests once a night - and requires reservations at least one year in advance - the pop-up version offers five a la carte courses served by Starr staffers to the 100-plus who scored reservations for each night of the limited engagement. Take a look at our slide show from last night’s pop-up and tell us in the comments section what you think.
