Last night’s Fifth Annual Great Chefs Event, a benefit for Alex’s Lemonade Stand organized by the Vetri Foundation for Children, brought some of the culinary world’s brightest and best talent together to raise money to help fight pediatric cancer. Local chefs worked side by side with stars from Top Chef, Iron Chef and acclaimed restaurateurs from around the world, turning out dishes for the hundreds of supporters who came out for the event. All proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, which currently funds more than 125 research projects that are all focused on finding cures for pediatric cancer.
