The Coalition of Restaurant Owners for Liquor Control Fairness (CROLF), a group of restaurateurs that have been crying foul for months over the wine boutique that the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board opened inside Garces Trading Company, officially filed a lawsuit against the liquor governing body on Friday in Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, according to Philadelphia Brownstoner. In the complaint CROLF, which includes proprietors of Le Bec Fin, Tria, Lolita, Fergie's and Caribou Café, claims that PLCB’s wine boutique is unfair, because it allows Garces Trading Company to make wine available to its customers at cost without the expense of a liquor license and liquor liability insurance.
