Had enough of Philly Beer Week yet? Do you long to get back to those simpler, flavorless beers produced by faceless multi-national conglomerates? Just as Beer Week takes its last gasps (or is it gulps?) on Sunday, the good folks at Phoodie.info will team up with El Camino Real for the Dance of the Macrobrews, an afternoon of country music, barbecue and beers that Pop-Pops find palatable. The whole mess kicks off at 4 p.m. and goes until 10 p.m.

• In the meantime Beer Week keeps on chuggin’ with Michigan’s Founders representing at Kraftwork, a huge Belgian blowout at the Sidecar, and Dogfish Head brewers at Standard Tap tonight.

• On Saturday, the Wishing Well hosts the SHAME Burger Challenge with Weyerbacher. The first three people to consume a double SHAME Burger and four 6-ounce Weyerbacher beers win prizes.

• Grab the kids and head to the P.O.P.E. for a Saturday sing-along brunch with Ommegang. Brunch specials and music will be kid-friendly.

• Despite its location in the city’s Brewerytown section, Art + Soul Food returns Saturday and it has nothing to do with beer. Artists will display works in make-shift galleries set up in many of storefronts along West Girard Ave., and the city’s best soul food restaurants will be there to serve food.

• On Sunday Flying Fish brewer Casey Hughes brings his acclaimed Exit Series limited edition beers to Jose Garces’ Amada for a special beer pairing dinner.

• There’s also the World Cup this weekend. In addition to the specials Grub Street mentioned yesterday, Cantina at Distrito is showing the games on its three TV’s and offering fans 3-for-$12 food and drink specials. London Grill is offering $3 Carlsbergs and $6 glasses of South African wines.
