With so much leakage trickling out everywhere with details of Philadelphia Magazine’s 2010 Best of Philly” winners, it seems like most of the big beans have been spilled before printed copies even hit newsstands. Via Twitter Grub Street learned that Fork’s Terence Feury snatched this year’s best chef honors. Fork also was awarded another Best of Philly for its house-cured charcuterie. Not surprisingly, Jose Garces (who graces the issue’s cover) swept this year’s awards, besting in at least four categories, including Best New Concept (Garces Trading Co.), Best Modern Mexican (Distrito) and Best Diet Buster (Village Whiskey).

Via Twitter Grub Street also found out that John Doyle from McGillin’s Old Ale House was named Best Bartender, the Pub & Kitchen crew won Best Gastropub, and Bistrot La Minnette took Best Dessert.

From Phillymag’s own site we found out that The Franklin Mortgage & Investment Company took the Best Bar honors, El Rey won Best Hangover Cure for its Fried Egg Chilaquiles, Norristown’s Capone’s was named Best Beer Jackpot, and the Meridien Hotel’s Amuse bar was named Best Bar For Grown-Ups. forkrestaurant [Twitter]
