In its first eight years of existence, gayborhood mainstay Mixto traditionally closed at midnight on most nights. Tonight and every night hereafter it will remain open until 2 a.m., serving up Latin music and dishes with Caribbean cocktails. To go with its newly extended hours, team Mixto is also introducing new cocktails and a late-night menu that will be served until closing at the bar, in the dining room and outside.
New cocktails include:
Mojitos - Mango, Passion Fruit, Sweet Tea, Pomegranate, Guava
Margaritas- Classic flavors such as Coconut, Mango, Passion Frui
“El Diablo” - Muddled Jalapenos and Blackberries with Sauza Hornitos Plata, Cointreau, and fresh Lime Juice
“Mixto Margarita” - Ultimate Goblet Size made with Jose Cuervo Tradicional, Cointreau, and fresh-squeezed Orange Juice
The new late night menu includes a variety of Appetizers, including:
Empanadas (choice of beef, chicken, cheese, or crab)
Shrimp ceviche
Home-made guacamole
Entrees include:
Arroz con Pollo Cubano (Chicken, saffron rice, Cuban Sausage, and Manzanilla olives)
Churrasco Argentino (Skirt Steak, garlic roasted potatoes and vegetables)
Cubano Sandwich
