Pascual Cancelliere will unveil his Italian-Argentine BYO, 943, after Labor Day, on 943 S. Ninth St. in the Italian Market. The restaurant will feature “classic Argentine comfort food, all recipes from Dora’s repertoire.” Dora is Pascual’s mom, who got major props for her empanadas at M Restaurant. Pascual was the chef at M until last month, and from 2000 to 2003 he ran the kitchen at the Butcher’s Cafe, also in the Italian market, which his late father John Cancelliere owned. Look forward to Pascual’s empanadas, tortillas, house-made pastas, and “a lot of meats getting grilled up” at 943. The restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
