For fall Iron Chef Jose Garces is offering a new tasting menu at his restaurant Tinto that’s inspired by Spain’s Basque region and simultaneously flaunts one of the season’s most popular ingredients, apples. The four-course prix fixe menu costs $55 per person and is available throughout all of October. For an additional $25 per person, there’s a hard cider pairing option that features Asturian and Basque ciders. The tasting menu’s highlights include Monte Enebro, espellette pepper, spiced apple jam and sliced apple, and foie gras with granny smith apple, chestnut puree, toasted brioche. Featured ciders include Isastegi Sigardo Naturala 2009, Trabanco Cosecha Propia 2009, and Trabanco Poma Aurea 2007. Click through to see the entire menu.
