Former Chairman of the Democratic National Committee and one-time presidential hopeful Howard Dean stopped into the South Philly Tap Room Tuesday night. On behalf of the PAC Democracy for America, Dean was there to help raise money and stump for local Congressional Democratic candidates Joe Sestak and Manan Trivedi. Dean, who doesn’t drink, passed on the Tap Room’s broad selection of craft beers, but enjoyed hors d’oeuvres served up by Chef Scott Schroeder and his crew.
