Local Top Chef contender Jennifer Carroll has been M.I.A. from her post at Eric Ripert’s 10 Arts for several weeks. While the official story has been that she was called back to New York’s Le Bernardin for a temporary tour of duty, Bravo confirmed today what Grub Street and the rest of civilization has suspected all along; Carroll’s been recruited for the long-rumored Top Chef: All-Stars, which begins on December 1. And despite being selected to battle it out with the crème de la crème from the show’s previous seasons, fellow Le Bernardin alum Terence Feury told Grub Street that Carroll is still on board for next Wednesday’s collaborative four-course sustainable seafood dinner at Fork.
