While Top Chef: D.C. winner Kevin Sbraga is still remaining tight lipped about the name, location and concept of his forthcoming restaurant, he has set a date for a dinner to preview some of the dishes that he expects to serve once it’s opened, according to Foobooz. The dinner will take place Thursday, December 9th at the Azalea Restaurant in the Omni Hotel at Independence Park, and will feature four-courses made up of dishes that Sbraga reportedly says reflects what he likes to eat. It will cost $75.
As reported earlier the Willingboro native and former Rat’s chef is eager to start burning through that $125,000 prize money setting up his own 20 to 40-seat high-end restaurant in Center City. In recent weeks he’s been spotted and has tweeted about scouting locations in the Washington Square West neighborhood.
