Meridith McLoughlin, owner of the Mainline bistro that bears her handle, has changed the name and the focus of her restaurant. As of today it will go by Aneu, a Greek word that means “without compare.” The change is intended to make the restaurant more appealing to the changing tastes of today’s diners. The name and vibe aren’t the only changes. A newly installed cream and ivory bar has been retrofitted into the space and serves as its new focal point. To stimulate a more vibrant bar scene, McLoughlin has added a bar menu and increased the number of wines available by the glass and bottle. Some of the dishes Chef Joseph Malandrucco created for the bar include raw oysters on the half shell, crab cake sliders and truffle fries. Click through to see the bar, lunch and dinner menus.
