Philly Neighborhood Food Week Brings Dining Deals to the Rest of the City

As if you haven’t had enough with Restaurant Week and its many spin-offs already, Philly Neighborhood Food Week is taking place from now through Saturday evening. Like other week-long restaurant promotions, this neighborhood-centric (read: neighborhoods not invited to participate in the Center City District’s Restaurant Weeks) version, which spans East Passyunk Ave and South Street to Manayunk and City Ave, draws attention to restaurants off the beaten Restaurant Week path. Participating restaurants are offering three- and four-course prix fixe dinners for either $20 or $30. While some neighborhoods involved — like Ogontz Ave and Northern Liberties — have few participating restaurants, others — like East Passyunk Ave and Manayunk — are virtually teeming with dining deals.
