Perhaps we spoke too soon yesterday when we said Tyson Bees, the much buzzed about food truck from former Chew Man Chu chef, Tyson Wong Ophaso, would make its long-awaited debut at the Food Trust’s second attempt at its Night Market, which has been postponed until next week. It turns out that Ophaso and the truck’s pit crew are still putting final touches on the truck, and unfortunately will not be participating at Night Market’s rain date, according to Tyson Bees’ Director of Operations Peter Kuhn. “As of this moment Tyson Bees is unfortunately not debuting at the Night Market on Oct 7th,” Kuhn told Grub Street via email. “We are super buzzzzzy preparing Tyson Bees for it’s first flight but can’t wait to start feeding Philly foodies.”
