In Philly Obama Moves America Forward and Orders a Corned Beef Reuben

Energizing the bases in final days before midterm elections must surely amp up an appetite in epic proportions. It’s likely that was the case on Saturday when President Barack Obama stopped in the Famous 4th Street Delicatessen, following his speech to 1,500 students at Temple University. The speech was part of the President’s “Moving America Forward,” a get-out-the-vote drive, aimed at getting students and younger voters out to the polls tomorrow. At the politically well-connected Queen Village deli he shook hands and posed for photos with supporters, and ordered a corned beef Reuben, potato pancakes and sweet iced tea.
