We were saddened last week when we reported that Meritage pulled the plug on its Thursday night Korean fried chicken special, but that gloom was lifted today after we learned that Michael Schulson has added his take on the crispy cross-cultural phenomenon on the new menu at Sampan. Tonight and every night hereafter the illustrious bird, which comes with a biscuit, scallions and Togarashi, will be available as one of Sampan’s regular a la carte dishes. Some other highlights from the new menu include a Korean BBQ beef short rib, with Bulgogi and kim che, and crispy brussel sprouts, with fish sauce, puffed rice and chili.
