Between putting the finishing touches on the greenhouses at his Blue Elephant Farm and harvesting his fall crops, somehow Supper chef-owner Mitch Prensky has found the time to simultaneously create a new Farmhouse Table menu at his restaurant. The Farmhouse Table, which kicks off Supper’s Harvest Week on Sunday, seats eight for one nightly meal that’s served Mondays through Thursdays. The $50, three-course dinners will feature dishes that emphasize hyper-seasonal ingredients, many of which will be reaped from Presnsky’s farm. Each night guests who score a seat at the table will have a choice from two starters, two entrees, two side dishes, plus dessert.

For those who can’t get a seat for Sunday night’s Farmhouse Table debut, Prensky is also hosting his weekly Sunday Supper, which will feature a $38 all-you-can-eat buffet that benefits the Food Trust. West Philly’s Dock Street Brewery is bringing along a very special cask of its Man Full of Trouble Porter that was brewed and vatted with “stale” beer to emulate the traditional English style.
