Chip Roman, the young but well seasoned chef behind Conshohocken’s well-received BYOB Blackfish, has hired former Lacroix chef Jason Cichonski. The latter chef will help the former get a new, shrouded in secrecy restaurant — a name, location and other details remain elusive — up and running in Bucks County sometime in the near future. All we know now is it will have a liquor license and the 30-seat “fine dining” establishment will feature three course menus for about $50, according to a prepared statement.
In related news, South Street BYOB Pumpkin just hired Chris Kearse as chef de cuisine, the Insider reports. Like Cichonski, he too is a Lacroix alum, and brings contemporary gastro-geekery — foams, et al — to the restaurant.
