Horizons’ owners Rich Landau and Kate Jacoby, the only two to ever serve an all-vegan menu at the Beard House, are celebrating the coming of winter this week with a special tasting menu, showcasing the chilly season’s bounty. The $45 five-course prix fixe, which is on offer through Thursday, December 23, features an optional wine pairing for an additional $20. Some of the menu’s highlights include a parsnip and chestnut bisque with mulled wine and spiced onion confit, and porcini shepherds pie with grain mustard sauce, smoked walnuts, celery root, black trumpet mushrooms.
