If you had hoped that the rumors of Little Fish, the dearly departed BYOB from Fish’s Mike Stollenwerk, reopening by New Year’s Eve were true, you’re in luck. That will indeed happen, according to Fish insiders. The bad news: if you had hoped to secure a seating at the newly revived restaurant on New Years, you’re screwed. It’s already completely booked. And while Stollenwerk rushes to ready Little Fish, which as mentioned before will occupy the former Salt & Pepper space at 6th and Fitzwater, he’s simultaneously working on putting the final touches on Fathom Seafood House in Fishtown. Tomorrow he will seek the final go-ahead on zoning from the local neighborhood association. Depending on the outcome of that meeting, Fathom, which has its staffs at the ready, could possibly open its doors before Christmas.
