Last fall’s Restaurant Week spawned a slew of unsanctioned prix fixes and alternative dining deals throughout the city and its suburbs. As this latest round of the now twice annual dining out promotion starts hitting its stride, Matyson is the latest restaurant to go rogue with a new Lobster Love five course tasting menu. The $45 deal, which as its name implies, goes heavy on lobster, is available through Thursday night. Some highlights include lobster Benedict, with avocado mousse, tomato confit, saffron and crispy poached egg, and lobster cassoulet with lobster “sausage,” stewed white beans, kale and red wine. Click through for the entire menu.
