R2L, the high-in-the-sky restaurant that chef-owner Daniel Stern opened last year, finally begins lunch service today. Since it’s Restaurant Week, R2L is kicking things off with two daytime menus; one features a three-course prix fixe for $20 and the other is a la carte. Some highlights include spinach salad with bleu cheese, red onion, bacon and baked farm egg, short rib and rib eye cheesesteak, with cherry peppers, grilled red wine shallots and aged cheddar “whiz,” roast chicken, with Brussels sprouts and chestnuts, and cupcakes. Click through for both menus in their entirety.
