By now you’re probably hip to the Franklin Mortgage & Investment Co.’s Extra Credit series, the monthly program that aims to educate tipplers while plying them with cocktails. This time around the focus is “Cruel to Be Kind,” a tasting of Amari tinged cocktails. For the uninitiated, Amari are liqueurs flavored with roots, herbs and barks. The lineup presents cocktails ranging from mildly bitter to most bitter and is available through February 11.
