Surprisingly there’s a ton of people in Philadelphia who are willing to get up before sunrise tomorrow to have breakfast and celebrate the nuptials of Prince William and Catherine Middleton. So many in fact that Lacroix can’t accommodate them. It originally planned to open at 5:30 a.m. and host breakfast with a simulcast of the wedding and special guest Oliver St. Clair Franklin, O.B.E., Philadelphia’s Honorary British Consul. But due to the overwhelming response, it’s had to relocate the Royal Wedding Breakfast to the Rittenhouse Hotel’s Grand Ballroom.

The breakfast itself, which runs $25 per person, is inspired by a traditional English breakfast and includes crumpets, grilled tomatoes, English sausages, orange marmalade, Tate’s Golden Honey and more.

If you’re looking for something a little less stuffy, Elephant & Castle is opening its doors at 6:30 a.m. and will broadcast the wedding as it happens. You’ll have to wait until 7 a.m. for the bar to begin serving drinks, but in the meantime a breakfast buffet will be served.

Not an early riser? Well, the Swann Lounge at the Four Seasons is hosting an Royal Wedding Prince and Princess Afternoon Tea. It starts at 4 p.m. and will feature a repeat broadcast of the wedding, plus tea and British specialties like Battenburg sponge marzipan cake, chocolate cream éclairs, and buttermilk and golden raisin scones served with housemade lemon curd, fruit jam and Devon cream.
