LCB Finally Gets Something Right!

After months of what seems like a full-court press to seal its own fate, the embattled LCB appears to finally be doing something right. Yesterday the state’s booze board rejected vendors pleas for increased prices on wine and liquor. Pennsyltucky’s Central Pennsylvania’s Patriot-News reports that LCB Board Chairman P.J. Stapleton will extend last year’s moratorium on price hikes, citing the thirsty masses “who are still struggling in light of the economy” as the reason. Sweet! Cheap booze means most of us will forget all about those pesky wine kiosks. [Pennlive]
