Marc Vetri will take a break from cooking Saturday night to pursue his other passion, playing guitar. The chef behind this week’s Great Chefs Event, is teaming up again with his longtime friend, Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter Phil Roy for a performance at the Kimmel Center’s Verizon Hall as part of the annual Summer Solstice Celebration. Roy sings and strums rhythm guitar, while Vetri plays lead. The celebration goes from noon to 2 a.m., and costs just $10. Vetri and Roy go on at 8 p.m.
