Will Le Bec-Fin Stiff Top Chef’s Kevin Sbraga Too?

Despite having the pedal to metal to get his own restaurant open this fall, Top Chef champ Kevin Sbraga has found time in his busy schedule to cook another special guest chef dinner on August 15. This time around, it’s at Le Bec-Fin. With dishes like smoked salmon with everything spiced bagel crumb, lambs lettuce, and horseradish cream, and roasted breast of squab, sprouted lentils, hazelnut paste, New Jersey corn and vanilla jus, the menu sure looks nice (check it out here). While the evening promises to be one of those once in a lifetime meals, the whole thing is great for Sbraga too. Early on in his career he honed his Top Chef—winning skills in Le Bec owner Geroges Perrier’s kitchens. Coming back as the star attraction means that he’s truly come full circle. We just hope that he’s not expecting to get paid for it.
