London Grill just kicked off its month-long homage to one of the most summery of summer staples, lobster. And while on this crustacean kick, the time-honored Fairmount neighborhood restaurant and bar is serving up creamy lobster bisque; New England lobster roll served in an authentic split-top roll; a half-pound lobster burger; a lobster bake with corn on the cob, new potatoes, mussles and chorizo; and a lobster dinner with a two-pound steamed lobster, corn on the cob, new potatoes and drawn butter. Just a few blocks away, McCrossen’s Tavern’s chef Townsend Wentz has a new lobster special. It includes a roasted Maine lobster with a ginger-pork galette charred baby bok choy and balck bean-XO sauce.

• Across town at Fish Mike Stollenwerk and his chef de cuisine Justin Petruce are offering their take on surf and turf with a Maine lobster served with white corn puree, haricot vert, chanterelle mushrooms and torpedo onions and a New York strip steak with horseradish aioli and miso.

Square 1682‘s Chef Guillermo Tellez is serving a doing a grilled lobster Tail with crispy sweet breads, grilled asparagus, and celery root puree.

Sampan’s summer menu offers lobster gazpacho with tomato, cucumber and mint oil; and lobster stir fry with egg noodle, bok choy and sesame.

• On Wednesdays through the end of August the Oyster House is offering a pair of one-pound Maine lobsters, steamed and served with drawn butter and corn on the cob.
