We all know that Philly and its suburbs are home to an impressive number of breweries that each produces really awesome beer. And we know that as Americans are cutting back on their beer consumption, those who continue to put it away are embracing craft beers like never before. So its only natural that there’s a huge beer boom brewing on our horizon. Three of the region’s most popular craft brewers, Sly Fox, Flying Fish and Troegs, are in various states of moving to larger production facilities, the Inquirer reports. And in the months to come these new breweries will allow the companies to boost their outputs. Troegs, which is in the process of moving from Harrisburg to Hershey has begun running test batches in the new facility that once up and running full bore will double the brewer’s capacity. Meanwhile, both Sly Fox and Flying Fish are looking at tripling production with their respective new facilities. [Inquirer]
